This policy explains how Yes Sealants (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you use this website, send us an enquiry or contact us. We are a sealant business based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and we are responsible for the personal information described here (the “data controller” under UK data protection law).

1. Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through the website form we collect:
- your name
- your mobile number
- your postcode and house number (so we know where the work is)
- the details you give us about your project
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we also keep the messages and any photos or details you send us, along with your contact details.
Our website hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in server logs. We do not use this to identify you personally.
2. Why we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests in running our business.
- To carry out and manage the work, including arranging dates and contacting you about it. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
- To keep business and accounting records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure and reduce spam. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.
We only use your details to deal with your enquiry or job. We do not send marketing messages and we do not sell your information.

4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as needed:
- our customer enquiry system (GoHighLevel), which receives your enquiry from the website form and notifies us
- our website hosting provider
- messaging and phone services you choose to use to contact us, such as WhatsApp
We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we expect them to use safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
5. How long we keep your information
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customers: for as long as needed to complete the work and deal with any follow-up, then for the period required for accounting records (generally six years).
6. Security
The website uses HTTPS, and enquiries are held in an access-restricted account. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to restrict how we use your information
- object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests
- ask for your information in a portable format

8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Children
Our website and services are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Links to other sites
This website links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and to WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
